Description
Little Thatch is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Brook Street in Kingston Blount. The left side of the building is rendered, likely over timber framing, while the right side features painted brick with an area of painted uncoursed stone rubble near the center. The house has a large timber frame with painted brick infill at the eaves and a half-hipped thatched roof. There is a ridge stack positioned to the right of center and a 20th-century stack at the left end. The house is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range that faces at right angles to the street. A 20th-century door leads to a lean-to extension at the left end. The windows are irregularly arranged casements, and there are two swept dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
