Description
No. 1 Park Lane is a house that was originally two dwellings, dating from the early 18th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. It features a knapped flint plinth and is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings, topped with an old plain-tile roof and brick stacks at the ends. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. In the center, there is a plank door with a segmental brick head above it. To the left and right of the center, there are blocked doorways, each with segmental brick heads and flush brick keystones. On both sides, there are three-light casements with segmental brick heads. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors, and there is a blind segmental headed panel in the center of the first floor. The first floor also has three-light casements on the left and right, again with segmental brick heads. A shaped wood cornice is present at the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
