Description

Queenford Mill is a watermill dating from the 18th century, which was remodeled in the late 20th century. It features a combination of brick and weatherboarded timber framing, topped with an old plain-tile roof. The building has two storeys, with the brick end wall and one side wall still showing some segmental-arched openings, while the weatherboarded side wall includes 20th-century windows. The roof is half hipped at one end and hipped with an outshut facing the river. Inside, the structure retains much of its original two-floor layout and part of the side-wall framing, although the roof has been rebuilt at a lower level in the 20th century.
