Description

This building, located at 15 Queen Street in Dorchester, is a 17th-century house featuring rendered timber framing and a thatched roof with brick stacks. It has a three-unit lobby-entry plan and consists of one storey plus attics. The front has three windows and two entrances, which are fitted with four-panelled doors and 19th-century open porches. Between the entrances are three 2-light small-pane casements, along with three 2-light half dormers. The half-hipped roof has stacks aligned with the left entrance and the right gable. The left gable wall displays exposed framing with brick infill. The interior has not been inspected, and the right bay is likely a slightly later extension.
