Description
Friarhampstead Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the early 18th century and has 20th-century extensions. It is constructed from flint with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof with a brick ridge stack. The layout is probably a lobby entry plan. The building is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. There is a plank door located to the left of the center, which is sheltered by an open timber frame porch. To the left of the door, there is a two-light wooden leaded casement window, and to the right, there are two three-light wooden leaded casement windows. The cottage also has three gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected, and there are 20th-century extensions at the rear.
