Description
Barley Close is an 18th-century house with a 20th-century extension at the rear. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and features a plain tile roof with brick stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and is two stories tall, presenting a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel part-glazed door, which is topped by a flat hood supported by shaped brackets. On either side of the door, there are three-light leaded casement windows with segmental brick arches. The first floor has a two-light leaded casement window in the center, flanked by three-light leaded casements on each side. A dentil cornice runs along the eaves, and there are end stacks. To the right, there is a single-storey wing. The interior has not been inspected.
