Description

This barn, located approximately 2 meters southwest of Small's House, dates from the mid-17th century. It features a limestone rubble plinth with brick dressings, small timber framing with brick infill, and an old plain-tile roof that is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right. The barn has five bays and is aisled at the rear. There is a gabled midstrey with 20th-century doors at the center and an opposing hipped midstrey at the rear. Inside, it has a queen post roof with windbraces, and most of the common rafters are still intact.
