Description

Walnuts is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with later alterations. It has a rendered exterior, likely over timber framing, and an old plain-tile roof. The house features a brick ridge stack located to the left of the center and an end stack to the right. It is two stories high and has a two-window range that is positioned at right angles to the lane. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door and a 20th-century open timber-framed gabled porch. All openings are fitted with 16-pane horned sash windows that have painted wood architrave surrounds. The roof has two cross gables, and there is irregular fenestration of casements on the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
