Description
Two shelter sheds, dating from the 18th century, are located approximately 30 meters north of Whitepond Farmhouse in Pishill with Stonor. The sheds feature weatherboarding over timber framing, resting on a base of brick and flint. The rear wall consists of timber posts with infill of flint rubble and brick crossbanding, topped with a gabled roof covered in old tiles. The posts are braced to the wall plate. Inside, there is a six-bay queen-post roof with clasped purlins. The shelter shed on the right, also from the 18th century, is built in a similar style and materials but has a six-bay roof that was remodeled in the 20th century. These structures are included for their group value.
