Description

This is a monument located approximately 90 metres southwest of Britwell House, built in 1764 for Sir Edward Simeon. It is made of limestone and features a square rusticated base leading up to a moulded plinth. Each face of the shaft has a composite pilaster, topped with a moulded entablature and a vase finial. The plinth includes an inscription panel that indicates the column was erected by Sir Edward Simeon in memory of his parents.
