Description
Flint Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of unknapped flint with brick dressings and has a plain tile roof with brick stacks. The building is two stories high and features a three-window range. The central entrance has a plank door and is sheltered by a weatherboarded porch. To the right of the entrance, there is a 2-light 20th-century casement window in the original opening, and a sloping buttress is located to the left. On the first floor, there are three 2-light 20th-century casements in their original openings. The roof is hipped to the left, and there is an end stack to the right and an internal stack to the left. The left side of the building also has a two-story, three-window range, with a central door that has a gabled porch. There are 20th-century three-light casements on both the left and right sides, and three 2-light casements on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
