Description
This is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The left-hand side is built of grey brick, while the right-hand side is a mix of banded limestone, flint, and red brick dressings. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there are brick stacks. The main part of the house is two storeys high and has a two-window front. A six-panel door with part-glazing is centrally positioned, and it is sheltered by a flat hood. There are tripartite windows with 15 panes in sashes to the centre, along with similar windows to the left and right. Above, there are two two-light casement windows. The roof has two cross-gables, with a ridge stack on the left and an end stack on the right. The right-hand return wall has irregular fenestration with casements. The interior of the main house has not been inspected. To the left, there is a smaller wing, likely a former barn. This wing combines knapped flint walls with brick dressings on both sides, limestone rubble in the centre, and some timber framing.
