Description

Thatchings is a house, probably built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from painted limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a thatched roof with a brick ridge stack located to the right of the center. The building is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range that runs at right angles to the street. There is a plank door to the left of the center, which is sheltered by a rustic timber porch. The ground floor has irregularly placed casement windows, and there are two swept dormers. To the right, there is a lean-to extension. The interior has not been inspected.
