Description

Inglenook is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features an old plain-tile roof, with a brick ridge stack located to the left of center and an end stack to the right. The building is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range that is positioned at right angles to the street. There is a plank door to the right of center, with two three-light wood casements to the left and another three-light wood casement to the right. The cottage also has two gabled dormers. Although the interior was not inspected, there is a 19th-century two-storey extension to the right, which has a return to the street.
