Description
Millstream House is a house built in the late 18th century, with extensions added in the early and late 19th centuries. It features a combination of limestone ashlar, brick, and limestone rubble with brick dressings, topped by a Welsh-slate roof with rendered stacks. The building has an L-plan layout and stands two storeys tall.
The original symmetrical front consists of three ashlar bays to the right of a four-window arrangement, showcasing 12-pane sash windows with louvred shutters. The central doorway has a recessed round-arched surround, double-leaf glazed doors with margin lights, and a decorative fanlight. To the left, there is a slightly recessed rendered brick bay that also has similar sash windows. The shallow-pitched hipped roof has wide boxed eaves supported by paired moulded brackets and extends over the added bay, returning on the left side over a late 19th-century rubble rear wing. The interior has not been inspected.
