Description
The Toll House is a mid-18th century toll house that has been converted into a residence. It is constructed from limestone rubble with brick dressings and features an old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building has a double-depth plan with a canted front and rear outshut, and it stands two storeys tall.
The three-sided front includes a storey band, a dentil eaves course, and segmental arches over the ground-floor openings. There is a blocked central doorway flanked by 4-pane casements, while the first floor features 8-pane sashes with wooden lintels set into the canted faces. The side walls have additional sashes and the current entrance is located to the right. The roof is hipped at both the front and rear and extends over the outshut, with a stack positioned to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
