Description

This is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is a small timber-framed building, with a ground floor that is partly rendered and a rear that is similarly treated. The roof is thatched, gabled at the front and half-hipped at the rear, with brick ridge stacks and an external stack of colourwashed stone finished in brick at the right end. The house has a three-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, featuring a four-window front. The windows are from the early 20th century with cusped heads. A 20th-century door is set into a rear extension. Inside, features include chamfered beams, an open fireplace, a central timber-framed partition, and an original collar-truss roof.
