Description
Waterstock Mill Bridge is an 18th-century bridge that may incorporate some earlier elements. It is constructed from limestone rubble and brick, featuring some ashlar dressings. The rubble parapets have stone and rounded-brick copings and are interrupted on the east side by Waterstock Mill, which is an integral part of the bridge. To the north of the mill, there are two segmental brick arches with a concentric projecting course connected to stone keyblocks. The channel that flows under the mill exits through a flat-arched opening that has a central division, likely a later addition. South of the mill, there are two simpler brick arches, and the parapets continue to the east as walls that define the channel. At the north end of the bridge, the parapets curve outward to form square ashlar piers.
