Description

This is a wall located approximately 20 meters west of Bear Lane House in Wallingford, likely dating from the 17th century. It features an uncoursed limestone rubble plinth topped with angled stone coping. The main body of the wall is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with sections of flint and brick incorporated, and it has old plain-tile coping. The wall stands about 2.5 meters high and stretches approximately 100 meters in length.
