Description

Corner House is an early 18th-century house located on Stanton Road in Forest Hill. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with timber lintels and features an old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has an L-plan and stands two storeys tall. The symmetrical front, which faces Main Street, has three windows and a central door that is covered by a 20th-century tiled porch. This door is flanked by four-pane sash windows, while the first floor has casement windows arranged in groups of two, one, and two lights. To the left, there is a single-storey rendered extension. The right gable wall leads to a two-window rear wing that features 18th-century casements and contains the current main entrance. The interior has not been inspected.
