Description

Sandy Lane Farmhouse is an early to mid-18th century farmhouse located in Tiddington-with-Albury. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with brick quoins and timber lintels, and has an old plain-tile roof and brick stacks. The building comprises a three-unit plan with two parallel rear wings. It has one storey and an attic. The front elevation features a three-window arrangement. A door is positioned to the right of the centre, sheltered by a tiled canopy, and there are three three-light casement windows. The window to the left is combined with a secondary door. Three two-light dormers are present in the roof, along with stacks on both gables and one to the left of centre. The rear includes two long wings, one of which has a timber-framed gable with brick infill and some 18th-century casement windows. Inside, there are two open fireplaces.
