Description

Albury Cottage is a cottage dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and render, topped with an old plain-tile roof featuring brick gable stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands one storey plus attics. The front has two windows, each with three-light casements and roof dormers. There is a 20th-century porch on the left and an L-shaped extension on the right. Inside, you will find chamfered beams and an open fireplace. The building may have originally served as a bakehouse range for Albury House. It is included in the register for its group value.
