Description
1 and 2 Cat Lane Cottage is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It likely dates from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick featuring grey brick headers, and it has timber framing with brick infill in the cross gable on the right side. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has brick ridge stacks. The cottage is two stories high and has a two-window range. There is a plank door leading to a single-storey addition on the right. The windows are irregularly placed casements with segmental brick heads, and there are two half-hipped cross gables. Inside, there is a queen post roof truss on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
