Description
The Music Box at 13 Market Place is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling. It dates from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The ground floor is faced with 20th-century red brick, while the upper floors are constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings. The building has a Welsh slate roof and features a brick internal stack located at the rear right. It is three stories tall and has a single-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with a glazed door on the left. The first and second floors each have four-pane horned sash windows with cambered rubbed brick heads that include keystones at the center. There is a brick dentil course at the eaves. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
