Description

This is a house, now used as an office, dating to 1703 with a mid-18th century addition. A datestone inscribed "1703" was replaced during later work and is located on the first floor to the left of centre. The house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with flared brick headers. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there are brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a five-window front. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a Doric pilaster surround supporting a triangular pediment. The ground floor windows are 16-pane sash windows with segmental brick arches, with one window blind and recessed, and one a blocked former doorway to the left of centre. A flat brick band runs along the wall between the ground and first floors. First-floor windows are also 12-pane sash windows with segmental brick arches, with one blind and recessed to the left of centre. A flat brick band sits below the eaves on the left side of the building. At the eaves there is a brick dentil course. The interior remains uninspected.
