Description
The Grove is an early 19th-century building located on the northeast side of Fairmile. It features a stucco exterior with a parapet and stands two storeys tall, although there is a lower two-storey section to the north that lacks a parapet and has a slate roof. The main section of the building has a double bowed front with two sash windows, each containing three lights, on the ground floor, and three single light windows above. The central entrance is a round-headed door with six fielded panels and an ornamental fanlight. The southern end of the building also has a parapet and a canted bay on the ground floor. The extension to the north includes three sash windows that have vertical glazing bars only.
