The structure features weatherboarded timber framing set on a limestone rubble plinth, topped with a half hipped roof made of old plain tiles. It has a five-bay plan, and the open front is supported by posts with curved braces. Inside, there is a clasped-purlin roof with short curved principals. This cartshed is part of a group of farm buildings that includes a granary and a barn, and it is included in the listing for its group value.
