Description

Suffolk House is an early 18th-century house with a later 19th-century addition to the right. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings, topped by an old plain-tile roof and having brick end stacks. The house is three storeys high with a five-window front. A six-panel, part-glazed door is set within a decorative fanlight and a Doric pilaster surround supporting an open triangular pediment. To the left of the door are two four-pane horned sash windows with segmental brick heads. A late 19th-century square bay extends to the right, featuring two four-pane horned sashes with segmental brick heads. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors, and another is positioned between the first and second floors. Five four-pane horned sashes are on the first floor and five 12-pane sashes on the second floor, all with segmental brick heads. A moulded brick cornice runs along the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
