Description
No. 11 High Street is a pair of cottages dating from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of limestone rubble with squared quoins and feature timber lintels, topped by an old plain-tile roof. The cottages have a single unit rear outshut plan and rise to two storeys. The four-window front includes a three-light casement window to the left of the entrance for each cottage, with three-light casements on the first floor. The openings at each floor are linked by moulded lintels. The ground floor of the left cottage has a blocked door and a 20th-century casement window, but 18th-century leaded casements remain in other locations. Most windows are accented with brick quoins, and there is a stack to the left of each cottage. The interior has not been inspected.
