Description

The northern gatepier, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 15 meters west of the Church of St. Katherine in Chiselhampton. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a square design with a scroll-topped side strip and a ball finial on a concave base. This gatepier is likely contemporary with the church, which was built in 1762 for Charles Peers. It is included in the listing for its group value with the church.
