Description

This is a pair of cottages built around 1850, located approximately 110 meters northeast of Hydraulics Research Limited in Crowmarsh Gifford. They are constructed of red brick with stone dressings and feature a plain tile roof with brick stacks. The cottages are two stories high and have a four-window range. There are two part-glazed panelled doors at the center, and the windows are arranged in an irregular pattern with mullions. The roof is complex in design. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages occupy a prominent position at the end of the drive to a nearby house and are part of a stable yard group, which adds to their significance.
