Description
The Bottom Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1710, as indicated by the brickwork on the first floor to the right. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers and has a plain tile roof with a brick end stack on the right side. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a five-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, which is glazed, and is topped by a rectangular overlight beneath a flat hood. All window openings have sash windows. There is a flat band running between the ground and first floor. The roof is hipped to the left and features a gabled dormer in the center. To the right, there is a single-storey and attic wing that includes a door and three windows, along with a gabled dormer in the roof. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
