Description
Keepers Cottage, also shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Garsons Cottage, is a cottage likely dating from the late 17th century, with 20th-century alterations and additions. The building features a flint base and timber framing with brick infill, topped by a plain tile half-hipped roof and a brick ridge stack located to the right of the center. It has a two-unit plan and consists of a single storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The central porch is weatherboarded, with a plank door and a gabled plain tile roof. To the left, there is a three-light casement window, and to the right, a two-light casement window. A half-hipped half dormer is situated at the center. The rear of the cottage has a timber frame. The interior has not been inspected. There are 20th-century lean-to additions on the left and right returns.
