Description
The Old Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, likely dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations and extensions made in the 20th century. The building features a flint base and red brick construction, topped with a plain tile roof and a central brick ridge stack. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has a four-window range. To the right of the center is a 20th-century glazed door, which is sheltered by an open 20th-century porch. The ground floor has three-light casements, except for a two-light casement on the left, all of which have segmental brick heads. The roof is hipped on the left side and half-hipped on the right, and there are four dormers. The rear of the building includes timber-framing with brick infill. There is also a subsidiary single-storey and attic extension added to the left side in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
