Description

This is a garden wall dating from the 17th to early 18th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble. It stands between 2.5 to 3 metres high and features a tapering coursed-rubble coping. The wall marks the north boundary of the gardens for No. 31 Cowley Road (St. George's) and No. 23 Swinbourne Road, as well as the north and west boundary for the garden of No. 21 Swinbourne Road. It terminates approximately 5 metres east of No. 19 Swinbourne Road.
