Description

This chest tomb, dating from the mid-18th century, is located approximately 2 meters southwest of the south porch of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Yarnton. It is made of limestone and features a moulded plinth and cornice, along with corner balusters. One side displays a roundel surrounded by heavy carved acanthus scrolls, while the opposite side has fielded panels. The end panels are adorned with skull heads and hinged angel heads with swags.
