Description
Tadmarton House Lodge is a 19th-century lodge built from ironstone ashlar, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof. It features an Italianate style that is similar to the main house, including a pedimented porch, a cornice with brackets, and arched windows. The porch displays the Lampet arms, which are described as quarterly: the first and fourth sections show three rams' heads on an engrailed bend (for W.L. Lampet), while the second and third sections feature a white (or St John's College Oxford) crest, which includes a rams' head and neck holding a square hatched shield adorned with pheons in its front paws.
