Description
The stable block at Broughton Castle dates from the 15th century and is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone rubble. It features a stone slate roof that is laid in diminishing courses and has two stone ridge stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of a single storey plus an attic. On the right side, there are two 2-light Perpendicular attic windows, each with hood moulds and label stops. Additionally, there are two slit windows in the attic and a buttress on the left side.
