Description

This is a 17th-century headstone made of limestone, located approximately 30 meters northeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. The headstone features scrolled shoulders and has an inscription that reads: "Here lyeth the body of Dorothy, wife of Robert Shilton, who was buried the 7 day of January 1680."
