Description

This chest tomb, dated 1676, is located approximately 6 meters northeast of the chancel at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It is made of ironstone and features walls that are decorated with boldly carved drapes and a masons' motif. The tomb has a heavy, moulded, and chamfered ledger slab.
