Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with squared dressings and features a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. The building likely has a central-stair plan with a service wing at the rear. It stands two storeys high, raised to two storeys plus an attic. The symmetrical front has two-light casement windows, a central doorway that is accessed by a double flight of steps, and a semi-basement window, with all openings framed by segmental arches. The attic includes three stone-gabled half dormers, each containing two-light casements. The steep-pitched roof has three stacks, and the gables display an earlier roof line of the same pitch, featuring parapets with re-used moulded projecting kneelers. The service wing extends from the right side of the main building. The interior has not been inspected. This farmhouse is included for its group value.
