Description

Crick House is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, which was remodelled in the early 19th century. It features rendered walls and a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan with rear additions and stands two storeys tall. The front has two windows and a four-panel door located to the left of centre, framed by a pilastered stucco doorcase. To the left of the door is a 16-pane sash window with a moulded stuccoed architrave, and to the right is a canted bay window. On the first floor, there are 12-pane sashes with stucco architraves. The long colourwashed rear wing includes a large sash window. Inside, there is an open fireplace and a dog-leg staircase from around 1700, featuring a moulded closed string, a square handrail with moulded capping, and turned balusters.
