Description

Nos. 9 and 11 Church Street is a house that has been converted into two dwellings, dating back to 1676 as indicated by a datestone, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Welsh-slate roof and brick end stacks. It has a three-unit plan that has been subdivided and stands two storeys high. The front facade has three windows; on the left is an early 19th-century canted bay window, on the right is a 16-pane sash window set in a larger opening, and in the center is a large 4-pane window flanked by half-glazed doors. The first floor features 12-pane sash windows and displays the datestone inscribed "N/TI/1676". The interior has not been inspected.
