Description

The Limes is a substantial house, likely built in the mid-18th century and altered in the 19th century. It features rendered walls and a Welsh-slate roof with rendered gable stacks. The building is a single range with an added rear outshut and stands three storeys tall. The front has five windows, with flanking fluted Ionic pilasters. All floors have 4-pane 19th-century sash windows, arranged regularly but not symmetrically. The central doorway is adorned with Tuscan pilasters and a 19th-century canopy supported by shaped brackets. The eaves line was likely raised in the 19th century. The interior has not been inspected.
