Description

This headstone, dating from around 1697, is located approximately 5 meters southeast of the porch of the Church of St. Mary in Kirtlington. It is made of marlstone and features a rectangular panel framed by a winged cherub and flower drops beneath a scrolled pedimented head. The inscription on the headstone is mostly illegible but includes the date 1697.
