Description

Holm Cottage is a house dating from 1661, as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed of regular coursed ironstone rubble with a steeply pitched 20th-century tiled roof and brick stacks positioned along the ridge and to the left. The house has a three-unit plan and a three-window front. The left-hand side features a 20th-century gabled porch and a three-light wooden mullioned window. To the right is a three-light and a two-light wooden mullioned window. The first floor has two-light and three-light wooden mullioned windows. All windows are set within stone surrounds, and several have wrought iron casement fasteners. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
