Description
The Pottery is a farmhouse that has been converted into a pottery. It dates from the 17th century, with additions and alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble, with two-thirds of the front featuring ironstone banded with limestone. It has a crenellated parapet and three stone stacks located on the gable ends and ridge, along with stone copings. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles and includes a single gabled dormer. The structure has a three-unit plan, is two storeys high plus an attic, and features a four-window range. To the right, there is a crenellated stone porch. To the left of the entrance, there is one 12-pane sash window and a wood mullioned window. To the right of the door, there is a crenellated bay window. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows and two wood windows with mullions and transoms. The gabled dormer is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
