Description

This is a canal bridge built in the early 19th century, located approximately 60 meters west of The Rock of Gibraltar Public House. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring squared stone used for the piers and coping. The bridge has a stilted and keyed segmental arch made with ashlar voussoirs. The Oxford Canal, which this bridge is part of, was completed in 1790.
