Description
Lower Whitehill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from regularly coursed limestone. It features a slate hipped roof with a stone ridge stack that includes a string course and cornice, while the rear wing has a brick ridge stack. The building is designed in an L-plan, with the wing located to the right at the rear. The main front, which is oriented at right angles to the road, is symmetrical and consists of two storeys with a three-window range. The entrance includes a six-panelled door flanked by side-lights and an overlight, all sheltered by an openwork iron porch with a concave lead roof. The sashes are adorned with stone flat arches. On the right side facing the road, there are two 18-pane sashes on the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
