Description

The churchyard cross, dating from the 14th century, is located approximately 6 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Yarnton. It is made of limestone and consists of a plinth and a broken shaft that stands about 1.6 meters high. The cross is set on two tiers of circular steps. Both the plinth and the shaft feature worn relief-carved figures that are set within plain canopies.
